It’s been an interesting week following the announcement on Friday 29th May 2020 from the Chancellor Rishi Sunak regarding the extension to the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CJRS). It was important to get greater clarity before publishing this latest bulletin as a number of scenarios have come to light this week.
This update features information on:
- The extension of the CJRS, and information on the two different schemes available.
- The most recent criteria to allow employers to claim the money back from HMRC.
- How the rules apply in a range of relevant scenarios.
