Up to £30,000 per annum dependant on examinations taken

We have an urgent position for one of our clients who are based in South Shields in a local high street family run practice, their offices are modern and situated over three floors.

Ultimately, the firm aims to provide a stable, secure and friendly working environment developing the skills, talents and career opportunities of all staff, whilst trying to ensure the continuing financial success and stability of the firm.

You would be working directly in their Private Client team, where you act for individuals instructing the firm on a variety of matters including Wills, Trust and Probates. We would welcome candidates with all levels of experience, with training opportunities and room for progression.

However, the ideal candidate must be able to hit the ground running.

You will be expected to advise clients, with support where needed, in the following:

Drafting wills
Probate planning and estate administration
Powers of Attorney
Efficient file management skills
Participating in firm-wide and departmental training sessions
Training and development of junior colleagues

To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate:

Previous experience of the above matters
Proven ability to take on responsibility and manage files, independently where appropriate
Excellent technical skills and innovative approach to their application
Client management experience
Strong client focus and a commitment to service delivery
Drive and enthusiasm
Ability to prioritise work effectively and meet deadlines
Good communication skills both oral and written
Commercial awareness and excellent financial management
Flexibility and commitment
